Oneman is going to contribute to Fabric’s mix CD series. Beans were spilt here and now Fabric which is a bit like a blend of Isobar and Sound have said its alright to say it.
Oneman’s been one of the capital’s leading lights behind the decks for several years now – making a name for himself with long, meticulous blends of garage and dubstep at raves like House Party (a sporadic series of warehouse parties that predate his current Standard Place club night), and winning a show on leading London station Rinse FM, for whom he contributed a mix CD in 2010. In recent years, he’s changed his style to a quicker, more hip-hop-indebted method of DJing, frequently switching between genres and tempos.
He just did this for Aussie’s Triple J maaaayyyyyte.
Ewan Pearson, playing soon for our merts Kill Em All. His mix here for electric elephant really is very good. Listen to it, beats talking to your log burner.
Bestimix 87 from Tosh Otha, lovely chap, bloody amazing dj, recorded live at home on x2 Technics 1210s, x1 Pioneer CDJ 1000 MK1 a Pioneer DJM 600 mixer onto a Minidisc player. Excellent to listen to just after you’ve been asked how you’re going to make an international charity a million pounds.
